Last year, we had the opportunity to submit a quote to a potential new customer for a complex cast part. 

Our quote was based on our ALL-IN Sourcing Service,
which includes a comprehensive calculation of the CBAM data package - essential given the customer’s annual import volume of over 50 tons from China.

Our offer was further strengthened by the on-site deployment of our independent SolidTechnics quality control (QC) team, as well as careful project monitoring. This multi-layered approach is designed to provide our customers with consistent quality, transparency, and unparalleled supply chain reliability. 

At that time, we were not the most cost-effective option, and the customer decided to place the order directly with a manufacturer in China.

In February, we received a call from the customer expressing their desire to place the order with SolidTechnics instead. The initial samples we provided demonstrated a level of quality and process control that set us apart from the competition. This pivotal moment was the catalyst for what has since become a solid, long-term partnership.

It is with great pride that I share the news that mass production officially began last month in Chengdu, China.
